Winners Announced! Explain the Brain 2020: Neurodiversity

CONGRATULATIONS WINNERS!

Genazzano Institute is pleased to announce the winners of the 2020 'Explain the Brain' infographic/video competition.  We received many outstanding this year - it was a tough choice. Congratulations to all participants for their work and to our winners listed below!  

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing partners, Untapped, for their judging of the entries and very generous prize sponsorship, and to Education Perfect for again hosting this competition and creating exceptional learning content to support this project.

We had so many outstanding entries that Untapped has offered to award 2 prizes for each category.  Congratulations to the following winners!

  • First prize ($250) winners are: Asiya Shajahan (Year 9) of Al-Taqwa College and Chau Tran (Year 9) of Perth Modern School. 
  • Third prize ($100) winners are Sayma Shaikh (Year 9) of Al-Taqwa College and Rosa Dunbar (Year 11) of Lincoln High School.    
  •  Honourable Mentions are awarded to Hannah Chen (Year 7) of Perth Modern School and Jasmine Tucker (Year 8) of Applecross Senior High School.  
  •  School Prizes ($500) for the schools with most valid entries are awarded to both Perth Modern School and Mac.Robertson Girls’ High School with 19 entries each!
